Our cooperation with partners in the region:

  • Research project ZuG
    - Condition monitoring of the track environment by generating and analysing 3D video data -

In the railway industry, research is currently being carried out into the implementation of automated driving. Primarily the questions of obstacle and signal recognition are considered. ZuG is, however, geared towards identifying long-term changes in the track environment and eliminating the problems arising from them in the future by means of preventive maintenance. The project thus contributes to the digitisation of rail traffic by answering a safety-relevant question and thus significantly supporting automated driving. In addition, ZuG will help to optimize maintenance in rail traffic by digitizing.

    Research consortium:
    Eisenbahn-Bundesamt (EBA)
    Fraunhofer IAIS
    Universität Stuttgart, IMA
    ASCI Systemhaus GmbH
    DB RegioNetz Verkehrs GmbH (DB-RNV)

project promoter: TÜV Rheinland Consulting GmbH

    project duration: 08/2017 - 12/2020

Supported by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure

  • nitim Network       Netzwerk NITIM
    "INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC IN METROPOLITAN REGIONS"

Together with 9 enterprises and 2 research facilities from Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony is ASCI Systemhaus partner in the nitim Network. On the network the partners bundled the competence of each partner. The target of the cooperation is to offer system solutions of intermodal mobility draughts.

  • Project GLAS
    Gleichstromleistungsspitzenanalyse- und -vermeidungs- System
GLAS shows a system to the proactive influencing control especially the energy consumption of the vehicles under protection of the extent and the quality of the traffic achievements to be produced. The aim of the project is to reduce achievement points within the electricity supply of DC-power railway systems (for example tram) and with it electricity costs decisively.

    • Part projects:
      ASCI Systemhaus GmbH
Automatic generation of recommendations for drivers of a vehicle for the reduction of achievement points with DC-power railway systems

      Technische Universität Dresden
Development of procedure for the reduction of achievement points with the help of operational measures (Automatic operating condition analysis and operating condition optimisation, simulation and assessment of the electric power demand of DC-power railway systems)

      period of time: 10/2010 - 09/2013
